Chris Amies art

I was born in London and moved to Gloucestershire in 2021. Most of my painting is done with watercolour or more recently acrylic.

I used to like drawing at school but as with many people was bullied out of it, the result being that you don’t know what you actually have an aptitude for. Now years later I appreciate that I have no musical ability at all, but the drawing and painting has come back in. I’ve been painting regularly since about 2015 but over the last couple of years have increased my output thanks to being a member of the Cheltenham Art Club.
